Volunteer

We offer volunteer opportunities at our reception desk for 2 or 4 hours per week.  This is a very important position, as it is the victim’s first point of contact at FJCSC.  Duties include welcoming clients and visitors, giving out the appropriate paper work, and answering the phones.  The shifts are during our business hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. The Family Justice Center of Sonoma County values each and every volunteer who offers their time, talents, and energy to support and strengthen the programs and services offered at the FJCSC. Also volunteer to help with the donations and the clothes closet.  We provide clothes for interviews and other important meetings.  We also receive donations that help clients and their children.

Volunteers must agree to the following:

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age
  2. Attend an orientation meeting
  3. Agree to be interviewed
  4. Complete the background process
  5. Agree to follow the policies, procedures and operations manual for the FJCSC
